In accordance with American Medical Association therapy professionals should utilize Healthcare Common Procedural Coding System (HCPCS) Level I Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) codes when coding and billing for occupational therapy, physical therapy and speech-language pathology services. This webinar is designed to review appropriate use of CPT codes when incorporating hippotherapy as part of a patients integrated plan of care. In addition this course will investigate common therapist challenges when coding for therapy services as well as documentation pitfalls that may lead to reimbursement issues or increased audits.
