This Lunch & Learn was a 60 minute live presentation followed by a 30 min Q&A. Medical quality equine movement is a comprehensive treatment tool in addressing the needs of our patients in occupational, physical, and speech-language therapy. As such it is deceptively complex in its impact on human neurophysiology. In this session you will learn how to harness the power of equine movement to address specific treatment goals as well as how to convey that process accurately in their clinical documentation. This webinar offers a close up analysis of three patients’ therapy sessions in which medical quality equine movement is being utilized as part of the plan. Each patient’s session will target one therapy discipline specific treatment objective with pre/post data and a close look at how the treating physical therapy, occupational therapy, or speech-language pathologist is incorporating the elements of medical quality equine movement to facilitate changes related to the treatment objective for that session. Analysis of what constitutes “medical quality equine movement” will be included.
